Formado em jornalismo pelo Centro Universitário IESB, em 2006, e pós-graduado em Direitos Humanos, Responsabilidade Social e Cidadania Global pela PUC-RS. Atuou como repórter nas redações do Correio Braziliense e da Tribuna do Brasil, em Brasília, e, no Rio de Janeiro, em O DIA On-line por dois anos. De volta à capital federal, foi assessor de imprensa na União Brasileira do Biodiesel (Ubrabio) e, posteriormente, virou subeditor e editor-chefe do jornal popular Aqui DF. Esteve à frente do portal de notícias do Correio Braziliense por três anos, quando se especializou em cobertura on-line e edição de conteúdos digitais.
