A Netflix divulgou, nessa quinta-feira (12/8), o elenco principal da série live-action de Avatar: A Lenda de Aang, adaptação no desenho homônimo da Nickelodeon.

Mestre dos quatro elementos, o protagonista será vivido pelo ator Gordon Cormier (The Stand). Além dele foram confirmados: Kiawentiio (Anne With an E) como Katara, Ian Ousley (13 Reasons Why) como Sokka, e Dallas Liu (PEN15) como Zuko.

Além do elenco, a Netflix também anunciou o novo showrunner: Albert Kim (Sleepy Hollow), que também produzirá a série ao lado de Dan Lin (Uma Aventura Lego), Lindsey Liberatore (Walker) e Michael Goi (American Horror Story).
