O Disney+ revelou, nesta segunda-feira (29/3), mais detalhes sobre a série Obi-Wan Kenobi, contado os atores do elenco e dando mais informações sobre a história. Além de Ewan McGregor, no papel do cavaleiro Jedi, e Hayden Chritensen, como Analin/Darth Vader, o show terá outros atores de nome.

Com direção de Deborah Chow, Obi-Wan Kenobi terá Moses Ingram (O Gambito da Rainha), Joel Edgerton (Boy Erased), Bonnie Piesse (The Vow), Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Rupert Friend (Homeland), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton), Sung Kang (F9) e Simone Kessell (Reckoning).

A série se ará 10 anos após os eventos de Star Wars: A Vingança dos Siyh, ou seja, após Anakin já ter se tornado o temido Darth Vader.

Segundo a Entertainment Weekly, a série começará a ser filmada em abril, devido a vários problemas de pré-produção.
