Globo de Ouro 2020: o que esperar do esquenta do Oscar

Neste domingo (05/01/2020), a ótima temporada de premiações tem início com o Globo de Ouro: a festa, além de revelar os melhores filmes e séries, funciona como um bom termômetro para o Oscar – a mais aguardada cerimônia da época. A 77ª edição do prêmio promete comprovar a força do streaming no mercado. A Netflix disputa na categoria principal com Dois Papas, do brasileiro Fernando Meirelles, História de um Casamento e O Irlandês, aclamado longa de Martin Scorsese. No mundo dos seriados, a empresa e Amazon (além da HBO) devem monopolizar os troféus.

No entanto, correndo por fora (e com muita popularidade), Joaquin Phoenix e seu Coringa chegam ao Globo de Ouro cercado de expectativas: o vilão de O Batman pode levar o prêmio de Melhor Filme de Drama e de Melhor Ator em Filme de Drama. A vitória, certamente, seria uma mudança de paradigma da indústria, colocando um filme de herói no topo – principalmente, após as brigas entre Scorsese e o pessoal da Marvel.

Os brasileiros devem centrar torcida por Dois Papas. O longa de Fernando Meirelles conta os bastidores da agem de poder de Bento XVI para Francisco, em uma relação de amizade em meio a um tumultuado Vaticano. Por fim, a Disney deve segui hegemônica na categoria infantil, com Frozen 2, O Rei Leão e Toy Story 4 despontando como favoritos.

Séries

Assim como ocorreu no Emmy 2019, a comédia Fleabag – um dos grandes acertos da Amazon Prime Video – deve levar em todas as categorias em que disputa – Melhor Série de Comédia e Melhor Atriz em Série de Comédia.

Na sessão de drama, a Netflix aposta as fichas em The Crown, a megaprodução sobre a família Real britânica. Correm por fora Killing Eve e The Morning Show, a estreia da Apple TV+ no segumento.

The Morning Show, inclusive, pode garantir um Globo de Ouro para Jennifer Aniston, que disputa o prêmio de Melhor Atriz em Série de Drama com sua colega de elenco Reese Witherspoon. Também estão indicadas Olivia Colman, Nicole Kidman e Jodie Comer.
