Chega às prateleiras na próxima semana um dicionário com traduções de mais de 18 mil verbetes entre o yorubá, idioma falado por mais de 30 milhões no mundo e usado no Brasil em ritos religiosos com raiz africana, e o português.

As traduções são do historiador José Beniste, que em 2011 já havia lançado um dicionário com o caminho inverso, entre português e yorubá.

O dicionário também traz em suas mais de 800 páginas 15 mil frases traduzidas, regras gramaticais, explicações sobre pronúncia e outras orientações sobre o idioma.

Será lançado pela Bertrand Brasil.
